IBMish itself does not collect or transmit personal or usage data, and NDB Software does not sell personal data.

The application

IBMish does not include personal-data or usage-data telemetry. Your saved DOS files live in private disk images on your Windows computer.

When you go online

When you choose to use DOSWeb, NEWS, weather, FETCH, or NETINFO, IBMish makes the network requests needed for that feature through your Windows connection. The services you contact receive ordinary connection information and the requests you choose to make. Those services have their own privacy practices; this is separate from usage tracking.

This website

We have not added advertising trackers, fingerprinting, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies. The website does not require an account. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, handles connection information needed to deliver and secure the website.

Contacting support

If you voluntarily email us, we may use the information you provide to respond to your request. Please avoid sending passwords, payment-card information, or private disk images.

Purchases

Purchases and downloads are not yet available. If payment processing is enabled in the future, this policy will be updated to describe it separately.
